In Truck We Rust: the milk truck, the way it could be found in a backyard after years of rust.

Thanks to Mad Luke 71 for the starting model.

As I recently started to play in CarTown, I was not able to buy a VW Bus,
because it was already soldout, sadly...
I'm a big fan of VW Buses, used to own some,
and currently driving a VW Eurovan Westfalia California
So I decided to "recreate" it (ahem mainly it's spirit) in Cartown,
using the Milk truck, for doing this camper version.
I've used some elements I've found from one that was posted here, changed the rear ladder,
modified the rear door, added surfboards,
extended the top to make it more like a full RV conversion, and so on...

Mustang Boss 302 Trans-Am 1969 - #16 George Follmer
Facing a formidable task, both the Shelby and Moore teams returned to the Trans Am fray
in 1969. In the #16 car, George Follmer won at Bridgehampton, while team mate Parnelli
Jones won the races in Michigan and Donnybrooke, and took three second place finishes
as well. Supplemented by consistent placements from the Shelby cars, the Mustang
herd kept up with the Camaros through the season, despite winning half as many races.
Jones and Follmer would go on to maintain the road racing battle among Detroit’s Big Three
manufacturers, which reached a peak in 1970, producing what is generally called the
best season of racing in this era. The more recognizable “school bus” yellow Mustangs
remain the images of common memory from that period.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mustang Boss 302 Trans-Am 1970 - #15 Parnelli Jones
Today, there remain only four 1969 Ford or Shelby team cars known.
The #15 Bud Moore 1969 car, driven by Parnelli Jones was recently sold at auction.
The later-production #16 car driven mainly by George Follmer, is owned by Vic Edelbrock Jr.
The #1 and #2 Shelby BOSS 302 team cars are documented as well. Nevertheless,
the impact made by these Trans-Am BOSS 302s, particularly George Follmer’s #16,
left an indelible mark on the industry – particularly Mustang and it’s potential
for winning races – for generations to follow.
(L to R) George Follmer, Linda Vaughan, Parnelli Jones.

Lotus Elise
As soon as I've won this lil' Elise in the Mystery Box (quite lucky I must admit...),
I took a look in the download section in the forum.
Tried the Louis Vuitton, as I thought it was a funny idea and downloaded the skin...
Unfortunately, in it's design there's a white line near the motor at rear,
so I looked at the design, and decided that it could be done slightly better.
Also modified the top to make it looking more like a convertible one, and here it is.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've made also a "more racy less girly Elise", with some simple olive stripes on a flashy lime body,
adding the missing gas cap on the right pillar, and a british flag on the opposite left

Too much time to waste at work
I decided to modified this VW Beetle by doing a metalfake job on it
This is not my own design, but Jesse Ruskowsky's one, thanks for your work
As I liked it a lot, I've updated it a little, correcting some colors (around the numbers for example,
there was an ugly square not black but dark grey). I've also added an Okrasa engine in the bay

great job with that mud![]()
I am loving your work and feel so bad for you that you'll never own a sweet Bay window. Hopefully tho CIE gives us what we all want and drops a Split window bus some time soon.

As the cool blue coins cars comes and I see them passing (bye bye Chevelle...),
I was thinking about another holy grail of the musclecar era that should be in the game....
So instead of waiting it, I decided to create it..
Tadaaaa, welcome to my Plymouth Hemicuda '71, with billboard graphics, vinyl top,
correct gas cap and a Shaker hood scoop to name some of the mods I made.

Chevrolet Camaro Penske-Sunoco - #9 Ronnie Bucknum
As I have both the Mustang Boss 302 #16 driven by George Follmer and the Sunoco Camaro
#6 driven by Mark Donohue in Scalectrix slotcars, I decided to reproduce them,
starting first with the Mustang Boss (which is currently my first entry in the November contest).
Then I thought about doing the Camaro too, and as Redliner1969 already did it,
I just checked its skin and updated it a little to my taste....
Too bad, I uploaded it with my own watermark, which was a mistake and some kind of bad taste
So to correct this "faute de gout", I then decided to recreate it from scratch,
taking as model the #9 driven by Ronnie Bucknum, team mate of Mark Donohue
in the Roger Penske Team during the Trans Am campaign at the end of the sixties...

Chevrolet Bel Air "Hot-Rod"
For my personal taste, a "shoebox" must be a two tones or with nice flames,
so here's the latest car I bought today and transformed directly.

Chevrolet Bel Air "Hot-Rod"
I've tried also the Bel Air with one single color matched to the flames. Less hot-rod and more classic

Ford GT40 MK1 - chassis #101
Back in 1964: ... The idea of buying Ferrari was seriously considered but eventually
came to nothing so rather than starting from scratch, Ford went shopping for another suitable
basis on which to start building a GT prototype.
Despite failing to finish at the 1963 Le Mans 24 Hours, Eric Broadley’s Lola GT was one of the
most advanced cars around. Already powered by a Ford engine, it had shown great potential
and soon after Le Mans, Ford bought the Lola, Broadley and his men.
They established Ford Advanced Vehicles and built a brand new factory in Slough, England
so as to be closer to the hoards of specialist suppliers in the UK and Europe. The design team
would be headed by ex-Aston Martin designer, Roy Lunn, whilst Broadley was retained for 1964
and ex-Aston Martin team manager, John Wyer, was put in charge of managing the whole affair.
After an open day for journalists at Slough, the first GT40 was flown to the US in April 1964
where it was displayed at the New York Motor Show. Three cars were built to begin with,
one of which was taken to the Le Mans Trials later that month. However, Jo Schlesser
got out of shape at 150mph in the wet down the Mulsanne Straight and the car was written off.
Another GT40 then showed up for the cars racing debut at the Nurburging 1000km in May
but went out after 15 laps. At Le Mans the GT40 led for two hours, set a new lap record
and clocked 207mph down the Mulsanne until transmission woes accounted for two
of the three cars, the other catching fire. Gearbox trouble was a recurring theme at Reims
where Attwood and Schlesser’s car ran an experimental 4.7-litre engine, continuing reliability
issues at the non-championship Nassau speed week meaning the GT40 ended 1964
with a singular lack of success.

Can be downloaded here
This 1972 Datsun 240Z, driven by Burton Brown, hit 172.9 miles per hour on September 17, 2010.
In doing so, it broke the the F/GT class (GT = Grand Touring gas-only class, F = the engine size,
which has been upgraded to 3.0L) record previously held by a Ferrari.
Engine is by rule restriction less than 3000cc's, and more than 2001cc's Normally Aspirated,
running on event gasoline. Body must be as delivered from the factory, no aftermarket pieces not avaialble
on a production vehicle from the factory are allowable on the car for the purposes of setting a record.

Chevrolet Camaro convertible - 1969 Indianapolis 500 Miles Official Pace Car
With its striking white and "hugger orange" color scheme, the 1969 Camaro SS has become
one of the most popular Indy pace cars of all times.
The car was driven by 1960 Indy 500 winner Jim Rathmann, his first time behind the wheel of a pace car.

Chevrolet Nova SS427 Baldwin-Motion
If Yenko cars were classics and Harrell cars rare, the ground-pounding, sidepipe-equipped
machines produced by Joel Rosen of Motion Performance in conjunction with Baldwin Chevrolet
were nothing short of awesome. For around $3,600, each model had the 396 engine removed
and, in its place was stuffed a more potent 450-horse 427 Rat motor.
Needless to say, these cars were the epitome of street performance. Since Motion continued
to sell cars when the 454 made its debut, there were a few 1971 Novas running around
with the bigger Rat under the hood.

than my previous "Green Hornet" Charger...

Dodge Charger R/T 426 Hemi "Deep Purple"
I made a version without the vinyl top some days ago, but because it looks great
with the vinyl top, here's my Charger Deep Purple version.

Chevrolet Camaro 1969 - Yenko 427
This Daytona Yellow Yenko Camaro was 1 of 3 Camaros personally sold by Don Yenko to racers
for use in NHRA Drag Racing programs and is the only known survivor according
to the COPO Connection.
Called the Preston and Lawrence race car, this car was purchased on April 4, 1969,
by Lester Lawrence of Montclair, NJ. Don Yenko personally signed off on the sale'scontract.
The 1969 Yenko Camaro was a limited production vehicle equipped from
the factory with COPO 9561, a special performance package including a L72 427/425hp engine,
special ducted hood, dual exhaust system, increased cooling capacity and special suspension.
It was specifically engineered for drag race competition.

Lotus Esprit Turbo - James Bond "For Your Eyes Only"
After the popularity of the submersible Esprit used in 1977's 'The Spy Who Loved Me', Lotus were once again
selected as manufacturer of choice for 007. This time Q-Branch would supply Bond with the latest generation
Esprit Turbo launched in February 1980. Series production was underway by May, the Esprit Turbo
using an enlarged 2.2-litre engine with Garrett T3 turbocharger and downstream twin Dellorto carbs.
This bronze example was sold by Coys at Silverstone direct from Lotus in July 1998.
Having covered a mere 19,070 miles, it was sold for £25,878 and put on display at the Cars of the Stars
museum in Keswick, Cumbria. Later appearing at Planet Hollywood in London, it was then resold
by Julien's Auctions on eBay for an incredible $210,000.

Lotus Esprit Turbo - James Bond "For Your Eyes Only"
At the beginning of the film, a white Lotus Turbo Esprit was used, while Roger Moore
investigated Gonzale's House. Two bad guys attempted to break into the car, however,
the security system activated and blew up the car...!
The second car was the copper coloured Turbo Esprit, shown above, featuring a ski rack
on the rear louvers. The copper car was actually Lotus's 1980 Turbo Esprit prototype
and was originally white, but the car was painted copper, so it would show up
against the snowy backgrounds in the film.

Datsun 240Z - Ferrari 250 GTO '62 Replica
The Ferrari 250 GTO was made from 1962 to 1964. There were 39 produced and they were only
available as coupes (hardtops). Today's going rate for a good 250 GTO is in the $10,000,000
range! Obviously this is the way beyond the budgets of most mortals.
So there have been a number of "one-off" GTO replicas produced, mostly on Datsun Z platforms.
However, there have also been a number of replicas built on tube frames (Marauder),
one on a 944 Porsche, and a cottage industry existed for a time producing GTO replicas
made from modified 250 GTs...real Ferrari's re-bodied as GTOs!
