The Theme: Low and Slow meaning: take a cruise down The California Boulevard in your Hyrdraulicly Slammed car for some fun. Like this:


The Car : 1950 Ford F1, 1953 Cadillac El Dorado, 1959 Cadillac El Dorado, 1959 Chevy Impala, 1961 Chrysler 300G, 1964 Chevy Impala, 1966 Pontiac Bonneville, 1995 Chevy S-10.


The Overall Shootout Rules:(please read carefully there is new additions that need your attention)
1. A max of 10 contestants can enter due to limited voting choices, so it is first come first entered so once all 10 spots are filled up, there will be no more contestants allowed, unless there is an early dropout.

2. Your vehicle entered can NOT exist in real life and must fit the theme.

3. The vehicle(s) must be one on the list above.

4. Your design must be appropriate. Foul language or explicit images will not be tolerated.

5. The first 10 contestants that want to enter will be contacted by private message by either Harrymanback, warped-s10 or ThemedSkinShootout with the submission email address. (other submission methods will be considered if you ask us!)

6. You have until MIDNIGHT (12:00 EST) MONDAY THE 13TH OF FEBRUARY 2012to send your entry.

7. Submit one (1) picture of your entry. It CAN have multiple views of the same design in the picture (which we suggest for the Stock Class to help out the judges)

8. Make your display 768Hx1024Wpixels.


9. Do not include your name on the actual display of your design. But please include you FORUM SCREEN NAME in your submitted EMAIL so we know whose is whose.

10. Email your entry to the email we provide and we will do a posting of all the entries for everyone to see.

11. For voting and judging, your name will remain a secret to prevent favoritism voting.

12. No entries are allowed that you claim as yours but are actually someone else design, if this occurs your entry will be disqualified.

13. There is only a "Peoples Choice" winner which there is NO "PRIZE" for only, the pride that you made the best Peoples Choice design for the theme.

14. In the event of a tie, there will be a revote of the tied designs.


15. Your Modified car MUST BE SKINNED, no adding of paint or logos or decals in photo editing software out side of what can be put on a template that is uploaded to your Car Town vehicle of choice.

Congratulations to Grom on a sweet win. I was hoping for a neck-n-neck battle and that's exactly what we got. Thanx to Joe for making it a 3 way "Battle Royale". Another THANX to everyone that voted for my "Dead Man" I sincerely appreciate every vote and you guys are the real reason I enter these shoot-outs, you all make it worthwhile! A big THANX to Joe and Warped for puttin' on this shin-dig, as always, it's a blast!

If anyone wants the "Dead Man" (it's a transparent overlay, the white can be changed to suit and it looks way kewl in black!) toss a PM my way with your email address and I'll send it your way.

Yay! Loved the theme and entries.
As Warped said, they all have their strong points. Dead man Impala has so many details added everywhere (modded bumper (when I saw it I wish I did something like that too), those little things around the windows, doggie, and the snake skin seats etc, and the skin looks great), that Riviera looks really cool too.
3rd entry was nice piece of work too:red tinting and headlights, chopped roof, rearview mirror and those wheels have the lowrider size.
Now, We really need some more entries for the next TSS', last two were 3-way battle between Wolfie, Harrymanback and me, and people should vote more (there should be more than some 30 votes in the TSS).
