Hello everyone. i'm VJ and i am one of the leaders for Team Shift. This is a thread for those who are interested in joining the team. My partner's name is Ben and together he and i run Shift. Ben was inspired to make Team Shift after he saw Riventek come together. Being in a team isn't always about the wins but it's also about meeting new people who you share a common interest with.

So, what are the requirements?
- Level 20 or higher
- Be nice in the team chat in facebook.
- Kindly do not cancel challenges from your teammates.
- Race fairly.
- A car with a Team Shift template. you can make one for yourself or ask one of the team designers to make you one. it doesn't matter to me what car you put the template on but please do have a car with it on so we can identify you as a member.

If you want to recruit here maybe just maybe you should start a recruiting thread here instead of having folks go to the other forum. Most of us do not visit that forum anymore.

well, i still visit the old forum quite a bit. i thought that maybe some people didn't want a recruitment link here because i feel that this forum is more about graphics. i will talk to my partner about opening a thread here. ^_^

We are everything the original isn't. We share our templates instead of begging with an email link in the post, we do not have a premature ban hammer, we are friendly, resourceful and loyal. The reason why we are viewed as a skin forum is because we share over 2000 of our community made skins. The original doesn't have that, people are teased into begging for it by showing it off. Don't judge a book by it's cover

What does your team offer over Team Riventek or Team LionSpeed?

What is the general personality of your teammates?

Does the team have a website?

Is it a requirement to have my cars wear that gaudy team skin?

Just wondering & no offense intended but I'm not willing to do much over there, these forums are my choice.

i do agree that this forum has a better community, and i'm quite thankful i've found this forum. people here seem more friendly and i do like the fact that templates are available for DL here right away rather than having to post 'email to...email here..' which helps keep posts more organized.


1. while i do agree that riventek and LS are great teams on CT, Shift members help each other with keep one another's cars and we always race fairly both on the HST and in normal races. helpful criticism and advice on both CT and non-CT related topics are also a plus. we have members who make graphics for the team and you can feel free to ask them to make you one should you join you also get to meet new people who potentially become your friends and possibly a brother/sister.

2. enthusiastic, friendly. there is always someone online in the team chat and the chat in turn becomes open to anything and everything under the sun. you'd be surprised that some of the most interesting conversations happen in the team chat.

3. it's currently under construction. but it should be up in a few days.

4. we do require each member to have a car with a shift template; you are welcome to make your own or have one of designers make it. the car you choose to put a shift template on doesn't matter, it can be whichever car you like.

Activeness on OCTF means, when there is a competition(design battle), to check the thread a few times. I've been with
TeamShift just under a month, and honestly, it helped me grow as a Ct player, and the competitions help me grow as a
better designer, because your work gets properly critiqued. Whenever I play CT on Facebook, I leave the TS (TeamShift)
chat on to discuss cars and what not, we also have a CV (Cityville) chat, as well as a TS Design Page, where other members
make requests, and the designers create templates, for which you get paid in Gold Coins . A nice incentive sometimes.
I've been with UCTF for over a month now, and I wouldn't swap OCTF for this anyday, but I can confirm that, TeamShift is
trying to make the transition into UCTF for hosting competitions and such.
