《最後的科學怪人》是由知名导演Takeshi Kawamura 执导的一部科幻片,Akira Emoto 等倾情出演,该片讲述了: This 1992 J apanese fil m tells the story of a scientist who sets out to create t he new &quo t;super Adam and Eve", humans who cannot be cont rolled by their em otions. Of course, the en d result it not exactly what t he good doc tor expects . comments from imd b: This modern tale of an atte mpt to build a c reature i s one of t he best &quo t;horror" films e ver made, ev en if it s not a horror film bu t somethin g els e entirely. Cert ainly its on my short li st of all time great films. This f ilm was intro duced to me b y someone who told me " ;I have th is film that proba bly one of the best f ilms you 9;ll e ver see. It will move you a nd touch you and make you think , but if I told you what it is and told you how its done y ou wil l think its the stupidest thi ng on the face o f it and you won't watch it." Intrigued I asked wha t did he mean, and h e said, " ;Well its a Frankenst ein story, w ith a v ery goofy sort of edge, but which uses it to it s advantage." My e ars per ked up, and I bein g a trusting so ul took the tape and w atched it. I was blown away. The plot con cerns a mad scienti st attempting to ma ke a new Adam and Ev e in the wake of a suicidal plague that is ra vaging the world. Lo cked up in his lab his expe riments go differently then either h e or we expect. Some of it is silly (The bolts in th e neck, the wrestling move s...), all of it is touching and thought provoking. I can not recommend this mov ie eno ugh. If yo u are willing to take the film on its ter ms and allo w it to tell its story then I urge you to seek th is film out and see it. Th is is a n und iscovered ge m that will stay with you forev er. 15 ou t of 10 and then some. 10/10 Also known as &qu ot;The Las t Frankenstein", this is a n extraord inary, impeccably produ ced horror film. Dir ector Takeshi Kawamura us es Mary Shelley's novel as a mere launching pad fo r an exploration of subjects as diverse and fascinating as the nature of lo ve, d esir e, suicide, mass hypnosi s, sex, alienati on and jea lousy. And thoug h the film is dense with su btext , it is also stunningl y photographed and rich in atmo sphere and detail. The performance s are all amazin g and Kawamura& #39;s sensitive hand ling of the strange, delicat e relationships between the characters res ults in an em otionally c harged, angst-ridden t ragedy . The scenes of the confused, troubled monster hurtli ng through a fog -shrouded forest at night are memor able and striking , as is a brilliant home mo vie-style montage of the film';s more curious characters enjoying a preci ous afternoon at the beach. Kawamura creates resonatin g visual poetry of horror and sadness ba rely sighted since To dd Browning39;s classic " ;Freaks&quo t;. I ntelli gent, emotional, tragi c and rea l, this is an absolute gem.
